Alex Ng is a famous Hong Kong photographer, curator, photography art critic and photography lecturer. In 1987, he founded Photography Magazine 《摄影杂志》in Hong Kong and started teaching photojournalism in Shue Yan University. In 1997, he founded the world's first Chinese digital photography monthly magazine Digital Photo Imaging 《DPI 数码摄影》, which was later renamed to 《DC Photo 数码摄影》.
Alex used to be a lecturer and senior lecturer in the Department of Journalism and Communication of Hong Kong Shue Yan University from 1987 to 2015, during which he has taught many reporters and photojournalists for over20 years. Now, he runs his personal Youtube channel "Photography Monologue Alex NG".
