关于爱情的座谈会 1996 - 2000
这本书将二十多年前最初制作的四个独立系列合并在一起，集中在一个主题——爱下。在我拍摄这些照片的时期，年轻人盲目地接受诺查丹玛斯的预言，陷入了一种时代即将结束的世界末日的感觉。生活没有希望的真实感觉压垮了我，似乎我活着的唯一理由就是等待 1999 年 7 月开始的人类末日。然后，在 23 岁的时候，我发现了舞蹈公司 H Art Chaos 及其领舞白川直子的拍摄灾难性地改变了我对摄影作为艺术表达的价值的看法。我意识到，如果摄影是艺术，我就必须成为这个过程的代理人，自信地坚持自己的想法并遵循自己的审美观。我的照片并不为别人而存在。我痛苦地意识到，是我，而且是我一个人在制作这些照片。我辞掉了工作，但有一段时间我无法拍摄人，我濒临失去生活的动力。然后我从那些自由尝试的朋友身上找到了灵感，他们试图找出自己真正想做的事情。这让我开始了拍照的行为，这一行为最终给了我生活的动力。我当时拍摄的照片现在看来与人们今天所经历的事情高度相关。
当我刚开始的时候，爱情并不在我的保留范围内，即使在我的梦中，我也不会想象自己将爱情作为我的照片的主题。随着我对摄影的探索和深入，我对爱的看法不断变化，它在我心中不可分割的存在时不时地导致巨大的挣扎。我认为“爱=摄影”。摄影是我了解爱的唯一方法，而爱是照片能够产生的唯一想法。换句话说，爱是我所寻找的照片背后的真相。正是在这组作品中，我发现了永无止境的探索的开始。
