伍佰热衷滑雪运动已装载，类似于一路上华语摇滚的巅峰姿态，他同时也能够站上俗称「黑钻石」级别的高手滑雪道、拥有高超滑雪技术的猎雪手。
乃至如此，那一片白茫茫之下，武装再怎么登峰造极，滑雪极限是自己的事，与他人无关。「我们在这里满足了我们自己，完成只属于自己的成就，而其实／那都是孤独的」的。」
▍当主人都低头看着脚下，就会忘记抬头能够看到食物
冻结在视野上的白霜、卧睡在雪地中的巨树，或者尚未被积雪覆盖的脚印、等待被冬阳拥抱融化的雪人，以及飞腾于空中夜间的滑雪者；伍佰在滑雪的同时，利用镜头筛掉那些发生在大雪中，不为人知的痕迹与光影。
《伍佰‧滑雪场》的作品来自伍佰于2008年至2020年期间在滑雪时拍摄的照片。伍佰老师也从数万张的影像中，逐一独立与个性排列，展开一则神秘直视、人心冷峻然而燃烧热情的故事。
