日本写真集中无可争议的杰作，细江荣公和土方辰巳的《釜橘》最初于 1969 年发行，限量版 1,000 册。
著名摄影师细江和安国舞踏舞的创始人土方曾参观过日本北部的一个农村，土方在那里即兴表演了一场表演，灵感来自于黄鼠狼般的恶魔“镰鼬”的传说。当细江拍摄土方与风景和他们遇到的人的自发互动时，两位艺术家一起对传统进行了深入的调查，并对日本社会的当代动乱进行了个人和象征性的探索。
2005 年，Aperture 与艺术家密切协商，出版了限量版传真本，向原作致敬；现在，他们以有史以来第一个价格实惠的贸易版推出了这套迷人的作品，该版本由著名图形艺术家田中一光（原卷的设计师）在他去世前不久精心重新设计。他对这本经典书籍的重新诠释，确实是日本书籍制作的典范，其中包括来自经典 Kamaitachi 系列的四张以前从未出版过的图像作为特别奖励。
细江英公 1933 年出生于日本山形县。他是现代日本摄影史不可或缺的一部分，不仅是他自己工作的推动力，也是他作为教师和大使的努力的推动力，日本与外界的艺术交流。细江住在东京，由纽约霍华德格林伯格画廊代理。
