《在他乡》是台湾摄影家阮义忠欧洲摄影随笔集。一卷二十多年前拍完后便束之高阁的底片，为他乡一段旅程，揭开序幕。法国、西班牙、葡萄牙、捷克、匈牙利，86篇随笔与摄影作品记录了阮义忠为《摄影家》杂志奔波组稿的见闻，也勾勒出了那些古老城市的鲜活日常。这些影像记录既是对当代国际摄影潮流的回顾与展望，也是阮义忠为他乡的人、事、物的追忆与整理。
阮义忠，著名摄影家，1950年生于台湾省宜兰县。在《幼狮文艺》《汉声》杂志工作，开始摄影生涯。1988年起在台北艺术大学任教，1992年连篇《摄影家》杂志1999年起随证严法师行脚，为佛教慈济工作基金会。2013年，开始在海峡两岸开办摄影工作坊，旨在传播其在摄影方面的毕生之所学，弘扬摄影的人文精神。坚持用传统的暗房工艺冲洗照片，其纪实摄影作品充满了人文关怀，赞扬「世界摄影之于中国的启蒙者与传道者」。
