Hei Dou, our dorky black cat who wanders freely around the Riso printing studio, has become a beloved figure here. With her striking yellow eyes, mysterious vibe, and black fur, she blends into the world of ink, paper, and the steady hum of the Riso machine, while still managing to stand out as a muse for all of us—whether we’re artists, illustrators, photographers, or zine creators.
Bang Bang Zine is a studio where the energy of independent art meets the slow, intentional process of ink layering. Hei Dou perfectly mirrors this balance—chill and playful at the same time. You’ll often find her lounging in her favourite cosy spot, curiously watching everything that’s going on, or randomly knocking over freshly printed zines with a casual flick of her tail.
