人类想尽各种方式来取悦猫，猫却只要维持本性就能取悦人类。
关于猫，吴毅平总是比其他人知道更多的秘密，关于摄影，也蕴含着内心的情绪。
如果猫会旅行，给我地图，留下我一个人必然是唯一的方式。在城市街边、乡间巷道、破落墙角或者更多被人类遗忘的紫色……总能看到流浪猫的自在与虚无。如采丽的梨，沿生活的边缘绽放，行止如诗，现踪后又隐匿、紧密的丛冷峻，拥有一套处事规则，在与人的相互作用过程中，共收放与坚持，如一身哲学香气之隐士。
毅平的镜头里，人猫平等，猫不只是猫，更是生活的态度与节奏。他们出没于帐篷、宇庙、月台、杂货铺……有限的景窗空间，捕捉人与猫之间丰富的时间感，弥漫可以溺爱，也可以维系君子之交，每一幅画面皆为某种神秘的沟通与换取。摄影作品纪录了猫的真实日常之美，以独特的镜像，忠实再现生命本质里最细腻、最柔软的部分；对于毅平而言，狗是惊叹号，人是句号，猫是问号；不是猫选择流浪，是流浪选择了猫，而他所追寻的命题是饶富趣味的——如果猫可以选择，不知道他们会不会想要坐车去更远的地方？
