Trilogi Tiga Mata: Issue 1,2 and 3
Tiga Mata: Volumes 1–3 Bundle Set
A Southeast Asian photography zine series by Zontiga
Tiga Mata is a bi-annual photography zine from Southeast Asia, proudly published by Zontiga—a creative hub for photographers and visual storytellers based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
Created to inspire regional dialogue and visibility for photo-based artists, Tiga Mata embraces the diverse ways we see and experience the world. Each issue invites contributors to respond to a specific theme, offering readers fresh, deeply personal perspectives through the lens of Southeast Asian photographers.
This set includes the complete first three issues of Tiga Mata:
Issue #1: Vivacious
Curated and edited by Noi Chin, this debut issue explores the idea of liveliness and energy—not only in movement, but also in quiet observation. From still life to street moments, contributors reflect on how vibrancy can be found in both chaos and calm, and how even the mundane can spark joy.
Issue #2: Rejected Pictures
Curated and edited by Eiffel Chong, an ode to imperfection. In this issue, photographers were invited to revisit the images they once discarded—too dark, out of focus, unplanned. These “wrong” photos now reveal something unexpected: honesty, memory, mystery, even beauty. Rejected Pictures challenges our ideas of what makes an image “worthy.”
Issue #3: Tenderness
Curated and edited by Jessica Lim (Director of Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops), this issue reflects on gentleness and emotional resilience in a difficult world. It invites us to slow down, to notice small acts of care, and to embrace softness as a strength. In moments of tenderness, we are reminded of what it means to be human.
