Edmond Leong is a photographer whose practice began in street photography and has since evolved into a broader exploration of observation and everyday life. While rooted in candid photography, his recent work moves beyond the conventions of the genre, focusing on quieter moments, subtle details, and new ways of seeing the familiar.
His practice continues to evolve through long-term personal projects that reflect his curiosity about the relationship between people, places, and the everyday.
Unity, Duality & Universe brings together 28 distinct photographic frames that explore existence through the body, mind, and spirit. The exhibition considers the tension between what anchors us to the physical world and what connects us to something beyond it. Across different perspectives and moments, the photographs become fragments of a larger universe, separate, yet connected.
For Edmond, these images contribute an outward gaze into the everyday, finding quiet connections within people, places, and the details that surround us.
