FOTM Photowalk: WHAT CATCHES OUR EYE (25th July 2026)
Every day, countless things pass through our field of view.
Most are forgotten.
For this photowalk, we're inviting you to slow down and pay attention to the details that pull you in, the things that make you stop, take a second look, and reach for your camera.
Inspired by FOTM Case File #03: What Catches Our Eye, this community photowalk explores attention, curiosity, and the unexpected moments hidden within the everyday.
Head into the city on a photographic investigation. Whether it's a peculiar object, a striking colour, an unusual interaction, or a detail others walk past without noticing, the goal is simple: photograph what catches your eye.
Don't have a film camera? We've got you covered.
Kodak Snapic A1 cameras will be available for participants, making it easy for anyone to join the experience of film photography for the first time!
We'll be exploring the area around Merdeka Square, where historic architecture, street life, and modern Kuala Lumpur come together. It's the perfect place to slow down, observe, and photograph what catches your eye.
After the walk, participants are also encouraged to submit their photographs to FOTM Case File #03 for a chance to be featured in the FOTM Archive, and prizes to be won!
