FOTM: Build Your Own Film Camera Workshop + Photowalk

Ever wondered what it’s like to truly understand your camera from the inside out?

Join us for our first FOTM event of 2026! Where you’ll assemble your own 35mm film camera from scratch, then take it straight to the streets. Best of all, the camera you build is yours to take home, so you can continue shooting and experimenting long after the workshop ends.

We’ll guide you step by step through the build at Zontiga KL, sharing tips along the way, before heading out together for a relaxed photowalk.

We’ll wander around Bukit Bintang / Tong Shin, trying out the camera you’ve just built in a real-world setting, slow moments, city lights, and everyday stories on film.

Supported by Lomography and led by Wan Arman, a long-time film shooter sharing his experience and insights with Lomography cameras.
