What happens when a question is answered without language?
FAQ Vol.1 began as a series of social prompts, inviting ten photographers to respond to questions through images rather than words. Instead of offering direct answers, each photographer presents an interpretation, a translation, or perhaps even a refusal. The resulting images move between personal experiences and speculative worlds, exploring emotions, systems, and imagined realities.
Bringing these responses together in a shared format, the book becomes an open conversation between ten distinct perspectives. There is no single conclusion or definitive explanation. Each image leaves room for ambiguity, inviting readers to form their own interpretations and consider the questions that remain unanswered.
The first volume of an ongoing series, FAQ Vol.1 is less concerned with providing clarity than with exploring how images can communicate, question, and suggest what words cannot.
