'A Fuckin Mess' captures one weary traveler within the lens of another.
Traveling as backpackers, You Liang and her partner have stayed in many places: hostels, motels, home-stays, yurts and so on. The paper of this photo-book, like the flyers stuffed in the crack of the motel door, is intentional. The walls of the motel were peeling off, the pillow covers were stained, everything in the material world is cheap, but travellers own a lot of puny but priceless moments.
